Good triumphs over a genuine villain!

On our way out of town a month or so ago, What Cheer? Brigade (Sam's in it) helped their trumpet player Joey quit his job in style. In case you mistakenly take this as bratty, Joey worked there under hostile management for 3 and a half years, while also paying for and attending college full time (graduated summa cum laude), and helped to start a much needed labor union that is now in effect at this hotel!

Dirt Palace Facade project

Here's a little sneak peek of a portion of my installation at the Bell Gallery.
This fall I will begin fundraising to complete the Dirt Palace facade.

This week we start installing panels at the Winton Bell Gallery.

Dirt Palace Facade gets RISCA Funding!

I'm working on a new stone mosaic facade for the Dirt Palace and just got partial funding from
Rhode Island State Council on the Arts!!

If you want to get to see a part of the facade before it gets installed in fall 2012
a portion will be exhibited at the Winton Bell Gallery this fall.
Here are some process pics! More to come!
This portion here is a little under 1/4 of the entire facade.
Next week I'll post pictures once I start the jeweled serpent!
